As per TI India’s Memorandum of Association and Rules & Regulations, State Chapters may be formed to pursue the objectives of the Society.  Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu Chapter was launched in 2002 with the initial agenda to identify priority areas needing attention, including citizens’ surveys of  public services, studies of organizations and systems, review of public policies etc.
